Reusable nursing pads – organic merino wool

Description

Our reusable organic merino wool nursing pads:

– bring relief to engorged breasts,

– prevent mastitis and infections,

– with natural self-cleansing properties of lanolin, the pads stay fresh and clean,

– even when wet they stay warm and dry in touch.

 

Wool fibers can absorb up to 40% of its weight in moisture.

For many years now, wool pads have been recommended by midwives and gynecologists as they protect women’s breast from both cold and heat.

Let them air-dry when damp and use again when dry.

The smooth side should touch the skin, whereas the grooved side prevents the pad to move inside the bra.

They come in a two-piece set.

 

Available sizes:

XS –12 cm in diameter

S (tear shape) –14 x 16 cm

M (oval) – 12 x 18 cm

L (oval) – 13 x 21 cm

The product is available upon order, so the size may be adjusted.

 

Wash & care tips:

Wash in hand with lanolin-replenishing soap or wool and silk wash.

 

If you need to increase the absorbency of the Green wool pads wash them in hand with dish detergent as it rinses out the lanolin and makes the wool fibers far more absorbent.
